Osmanthus Co2 Extracted Essential Oil

Our Osmanthus blossoms oil is a seasonal oil, Produced once a year (June- end of September). Osmanthus oil is intense, very rich, sweet, the fruity-floral aroma has a honeyed apricot fresh aroma of Osmanthus sweet aroma. Co2 extraction is very rare as this is a very labor-intensive and costly process.

Osmanthus CO2 extraction is much more pleasant and sweeter than Osmanthus absolute without the leather-like undertone which absolute has. Co2 extracted oil is a clear and clean transparent liquid and has a very fresh strong sweet scent of actual flowers.

CO2 Extraction: Unlike absolutes, this is not solvent extracted. Instead of hexane, they are extracted using CO2 (carbon dioxide) gas under pressure at ambient temperatures. The advantage of this method of extraction is that the CO2 quickly and completely evaporates, leaving no residue. this process does not require heat and high pressure. The outcome of this method has often an aroma closer to the natural plant than a steam distilled essential oil.

Yield: 1 KG oil is made from about 1000-1500 KGS flower

Angelica oil is non-toxic and non-irritant at low levels but is phototoxic. Exposure to UV rays should be avoided after topical application. Avoid use during pregnancy and if diabetic.
